Step by spte preparation guide of Dhania Patra Chutney at Home.

Dhania Patra Chutney (Odia: ଧଣିଆ ପତ୍ର ଚଟଣୀ) is a special type of chutney made from coriander leaves. This chutney is mostly famous on winter days.

Here is the instant way to prepare Dhaniya Chutni and you can preserve this chutney for 1 week or more days in a refrigerator. Since we're adding emli to it, it could be preserved for one or two days without a fridge.

Preparation Time: 5 to 10 minutes only.

Ingredients of Dhania Patra Chutney:

  1. Some Coriander Leaves
  2. 3/4 green chilies
  3. Some tamarind paste (Emli)
  4. Sugar/Jaggery as per required
  5. 5 to 6 garlic buds
  6. 1/2 tsp cumin 
  7. Salt as per the taste

The process to Prepare Dhaniya Patra Chutney:

  1. Wash the coriander leaves thoroughly to remove mud.
  2. Remove seeds from tamarind (emli) and shock them in water for 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Add Coriander leaves, green chili, sugar/jaggery, salt, and tamarind to the Chutney Jar of the mixture grinder.
  4. Before blending, add a little bit of water to it.
  5. Also, add some water when combining.
  6. Blend it until smooth.

Dhania Patra Chatani could be served with anything you like as a chutney. We've attached a small video below for better understanding.
