On the way to Kolab Dam, Koraput

Nature has gifted many places on earth that are special and Odisha is one of them. The state forms a land of temples and monuments, gave birth to prolific artists and well known for its beautiful beaches, wildlife, sanctuaries and natural landscape of enchanting beauty.

The physio-graphical regions of the state are distributed over the Northern Plateau, the Eastern Ghats, the Coastal plain and the Central Table Land. The hill ranges vary an elevation of 600 m to 1500 m above mean sea level in the state.

Kolab dam is the main drinking water resource for the Koraput-Jeypore region of Odisha. The scenic beauty of this place attracts people for weekend picnic and boating in the Koraput-Jeypore region.

One of our friend Nikas Ranjan Choudhury had shared some photographs on the way to Kolab from Sunabeda.
